Work With Me

Angie Clay Journals and Watercolors

I wear many hats: therapist by trade, expressive arts coach by calling, and storyteller at heart. My work began in community health, but I noticed something missing in the conveyor-belt style of care. Healing needs time, creativity, and space for people to breathe.

So I built It’s Angie Clay as a home for women who feel stretched thin by life’s demands. Women who need more than advice — they need practices that honor where they are right now.

Through writing, art, and self-care, I’ve seen women move from burnout to balance, from “I don’t even know who I am anymore” to “I’m finally listening to the tug inside.”

A Few Things About Me

  • I believe in micro-managed self-care: small, consistent shifts that prevent burnout before it takes root.
  • I am fascinated by the intersection of art, fashion, and psychology — how what we create and wear reflects how we feel.
  • I’m not afraid of honesty. If something feels heavy, we don’t sweep it under the rug. We sit with it, name it, and give it shape through words or art.

My Why

My turning point came when my mom had back surgery and woke up unable to walk or feed herself. Caregiving changed the way I looked at time, priorities, and what it means to care for yourself in the middle of everyone else’s needs.

That’s why this work matters to me. It’s not a theory. It’s lived.
